In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Burning Down the House.”
Your home is on fire. Grab five items (assume all people and animals are safe). What did you grab?
I don’t know how I’ll act in this case, but these are a few things I’ll grab before I go out
Diaries – I have around 5-6 diaries that I continually use and they are very important to me,I write stories, events and even practice calligraphy in them,so yes I’m taking them all.
Laptop – I am definitely picking up my partially broken laptop,it has a lot of stuff that’s important.
Books (Read Book Shelf) – The present me can’t live without books and talking realistically I can’t carry the whole shelf but I’ll take as many books I can and consider it a single item.
Wallet- For some money, cards and id.
Camera – Okay,I love clicking photographs.
But seriously fire is something I don’t really like, saw a shop get destroyed once.
Hey 😃 diaries and books are my first options too. I almost forget my wallet. Thanks for the reminder. Hmm . . . Certificates are very important.

Bro fist over the internet for having diaries and books on first options.
A lot of things are important but fire generally doesn’t allow to get them all out.

Another interesting post rehmanjafar. Too bad there won’t be time to back the truck up since all my STUFF is important?

I’m glad that you find it interesting,Sir.
Yes the fire won’t let anyone have any options.

It would obviously be a serious event, but I’m imagining a cartoon of you running out of the house with armloads of books flying all over the place.

There are three things that I always make sure are with me: keys (we’re not how much the fire will consume anyway, and my set of keys also include ones that are not just for the home), wallet (for the money, if any, and important IDs, and esp. ATM card), cellphone (not a phone addict, but I value communication highly and I see its importance esp. in times of emergency) — but basically, I just want to make sure they are all in a bag that I can grab immediately, or near a bag where I can drop them in fast.
Now, if I really have more time, I’ll add in the laptop and tablet as those are the next valuable ones I own that are light enough to carry. They’re good for communication also, which is the most important of all.
